Do you like to pamper yourself, but don’t have the money to go to a spa? Here are a few things you can do at home to help with the rejuvenation process.
Foot Soak
A foot soak made with lemon and mint will invigorate and brighten them.
Fill a basin or pan full of cool water, put some slices of lemon in and a handful of mint (after rubbing them to release the natural oils). Slide your feet in and let them lemon brighten them and the mint invigorate them. The aromatherapy with be uplifting. Soak at least 10 minutes. Pat them dry then massage with foot cream.
Oily skin facial
Refresh your oily face with lemon and cornmeal. The lemon regulates the oil production and the cornmeal softens your skin.
In a small bowl mix together 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1/4 cup of plain yogurt and 1/4 cup of cornmeal. Wash your face then use this mixture and massage it into your skin. Leave it on for about 10 minutes then splash it off with warm water.
You can save what is left for 2-4 days in the refrigerator in a air tight container.

A lot of people spend a lot of time sitting while at work, watching TV, reading, and doing crafts. These people unfortunately have gotten caught up in the sitting fat trap. Good news, you can burn close to 300 calories by getting yourself a portable pedal exerciser and start pedaling.

Stress
Have you been frustrated or blue? If so why not pick up a pencil and start sketching a sunrise, a flower, birds or anything you find upbeat. Research has shown that when you draw positive images it helps you feel happier.
While you are sketching the pretty positive and inspiring images you are distracted from what is causing your bad mood. You release a flood of positive emotions in exchange for the negative ones.

The steroid hormone cortisol which is produced by your adrenal gland is released in response to stress. Cortisol helps to suppress your immune system, the metabolism of fat, protein and carbohydrates.
When you are stressed cortisol is released to restore homeostasis. If you have prolonged cortisol secretion it can result in physiological changes.
The next time you are feeling stressed grab a handful of sunflower seeds. Sunflower seeds are packed with B5, which is a powerful nutrient known to boost hormones that stop the cortisol hormone.
